Job Title: Overhead Crane Service Technician

Volt is seeking a skilled Overhead Crane Service Technician to join our team in Fargo, ND. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at various customer locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic troubleshooting to determine the cause of equipment malfunction and establish the necessary repairs.
  • Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at varied customer locations.
  • Be available "on call" as part of the service office rotation and provide after-hours service.
  • Maintain company vehicle and uniforms.
  • Participate in monthly safety meetings.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technology or related field or equivalent vocational/technical training and experience.
  • Minimum one (1) year experience involving electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
  • Some electronic experience preferred but not necessary.
  • Experience with cranes is a benefit.
Benefits:

Volt offers a competitive pay rate of $38.00 per hour, with a pay range based on several factors, including education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. As a direct hire role, benefits will be provided by the employer.
