Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Participates in patient assessments and ensures their overall health and safety.
  • Administers prescribed medications and monitors patients for any adverse effects.
  • Conducts laboratory tests and provides therapeutic services.
  • Informs patients and their families about treatment plans, self-care post-discharge, holistic health needs, available resources, and follow-up care.
  • Maintains a state of alertness and operates safely at all times.
  • Performs additional tasks as required.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Completion of an accredited nursing program or equivalent educational background for licensure.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • No prior experience necessary.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Continuous verbal communication to convey information.
  • Regular standing and walking.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Regular sitting, reaching, and data entry tasks.
  • Frequent visual acuity for near and far distances, as well as color differentiation.
  • Regular olfactory recognition for detecting odors.
  • Regular auditory skills for receiving communication and identifying sounds.
  • Occasional lifting of objects weighing between 25-50 lbs.
  • Occasional patient handling.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, and repetitive movements.
  • Occasional driving responsibilities.
  • Rare crawling and running activities.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
