Key Responsibilities:
- Utilizes advanced radiological techniques to pinpoint and address malignant tumors as per the treatment plan established by oncologists.
- Monitors and records patient responses to radiation therapy.
- Maintains accurate patient records and updates treatment charts regularly.
- Provides answers to patient inquiries regarding radiological procedures.
- Ensures the upkeep of radiological equipment and adheres to all safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure risks.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Expertise in radiation safety practices.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare colleagues.
- High level of precision in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Problem-solving abilities related to treatment parameters.
- Proficient in computer systems and record-keeping software.
Certifications:
- Valid New Jersey State Radiation Therapy license.
- Completion of a 2-4 year degree from an ARRT accredited radiation therapy program.
Work Schedule:
- Per Diem availability.
