Overview: As a Nurse Specialist at Encino Hospital Medical Center, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
  1. Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  2. Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU.
  3. Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.


Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a valid state RN license, a current BLS certificate, and completion of a Critical Care Course. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status. The estimated annual salary for this role is between $81,000 to $140,000 depending on experience.
