Position Summary:
We are in search of a highly skilled and enthusiastic Permanent Manufacturing Operations Manager. This role presents an exciting chance for an experienced professional to oversee and direct our production division within a dynamic, lean manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in dairy production and a solid history of applying and managing SQF, HACCP, Food Safety, GFSI, and 5S methodologies. A minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in a lean manufacturing context is required.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Manufacturing Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Managing all facets of the production workflow to ensure optimal efficiency and product quality.
  2. Implementing and sustaining a lean manufacturing culture, employing 5S principles to enhance operations and minimize waste.
  3. Ensuring adherence to all food safety regulations, including SQF, HACCP, and GFSI standards.
  4. Formulating and executing strategies aimed at boosting productivity and operational efficiency.
  5. Leading and mentoring a team, providing necessary training and development opportunities.
  6. Collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless operations and superior product quality.
  7. Tracking production metrics and making necessary adjustments to achieve organizational objectives.
  8. Overseeing budgets and production timelines to guarantee timely product delivery.
  9. Ensuring all machinery and equipment are well-maintained and operating efficiently.
  10. Continuously evaluating and enhancing production processes for optimal performance.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
  2. Extensive background in dairy production.
  3. Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing SQF, HACCP, Food Safety, GFSI, and 5S principles.
  4. Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate.
  5. In-depth knowledge of production processes and machinery.
  6. Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying and executing effective solutions.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently.
  9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  10. A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
