Job Title: Security (Overnight)

Berkshire Farm Center & Services for Youth is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security (Overnight) to join our team. As a Security (Overnight), you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our campus and its occupants.

Job Summary:

The Security (Overnight) will be responsible for securing the premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrol the campus on foot or in a vehicle to ensure the safety and security of the premises and its occupants.
  • Monitor surveillance equipment to detect and respond to any security breaches or incidents.
  • Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points to identify and report any potential security risks or hazards.
  • Permit entry to authorized personnel and visitors while maintaining a secure and controlled environment.
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents in a timely and professional manner.
  • Complete reports and logs to document security incidents and activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure a safe and secure environment for all.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • One year of experience in childcare, law enforcement, or security work preferred.
  • Ability to converse in Spanish and English preferred.
  • Varicella vaccine required or proof of immunity.
  • MMR vaccine required or proof of immunity.
  • Tdap vaccine required.
  • Influenza vaccine required annually.
  • Physical (Medical Exam) required.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations.
Schedule:

Wednesday - Saturday: 11 PM - 9 AM.
