Responsibilities:
The Licensed Nursing Professional is accountable for the daily care, health needs, safety, and comfort of our residents.

This role includes conducting professional assessments and maintaining accurate documentation of residents' health while assisting in the management of nursing units and staff.

Engaging in the creation and execution of individualized care plans, keeping nursing care plans current, documenting progress, and suggesting updates to care plans (MDS) in accordance with facility policies;

Conducting daily and periodic visits to monitor and assess residents' physical and mental well-being;

Executing routine nursing tasks while collaborating closely with physicians and families to support residents' health and mental wellness;

Offering emotional support to residents and their families, and effectively addressing any complaints, allegations, accidents, or incidents that may arise;

Ensuring thorough medical record documentation, completing 24-hour reports, end-of-shift reports, shift narcotic counts, and documenting the disposal of outdated or discontinued medications; &

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date resident medical records.

Qualifications:
Licensed Nursing Professional (RN) Requirements


Graduation from an accredited nursing program and possession of a valid RN license in good standing as per State and Federal regulations.

Possess a comprehensive understanding of safe and effective nursing practices within the State of Florida.

Basic computer proficiency and skills.

A genuine passion for providing care to individuals.

Personal integrity and the ability to interact tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and other personnel.

The ability to maintain discretion and protect the confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to Corporate Compliance and HIPAA regulations.


Familiarity with personal computers, Word, Excel, and the operation of office equipment such as fax and copy machines.
