Job Responsibilities:
As a Cath Lab Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assisting with invasive cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting all testing and therapeutic procedures in the Cath Lab, including cardiac catheterizations and coronary interventions.
  • Facilitating effective communication among the healthcare team to ensure a collaborative approach to patient care.
  • Guiding patients through all aspects of their procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Managing emergency cases with professionalism and skill.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely patient records.
  • Completing necessary documentation and preparing tests for physician review.
  • Demonstrating flexibility and organization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborating with team members and providing orientation as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Active RN License in Alaska.
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Two to three years of experience in a Cath Lab; Emergency Room or ICU experience is advantageous.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from a recognized institution.
