As a Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation of a Burger King restaurant, overseeing a team of leaders and associates in achieving operational excellence and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of restaurant associates in a fair, consistent, and timely manner, supporting and enforcing all state and federal laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Achieve operational excellence by developing performance goals aligned with the company's operational objectives, hitting financial goals, and striving for year-over-year improvement.
  • Manage food operations to ensure quality and safety of all items sold, including managing the overall appearance and cleanliness of the store, inside and out.
  • Oversee quality control, merchandising, safety programs, and other guidelines in place for successful food service operation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the District Manager.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience in a restaurant environment, leading a team.
  • Preferred experience: 1-3 years of restaurant experience, previous experience with Burger King.
  • Valid driver's license and national food safety certification (can be acquired during employment).

Working Relationships:

  • Restaurant Clerks, Team Members, Shift Leaders, Assistant Managers, Restaurant Managers in Training, District Manager, Brand Manager, and various corporate personnel and vendors.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to maneuver and regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Scheduling:

  • This is a full-time position that involves working a variety of hours, day and night, as EG America locations can be open 24 hours depending on the location.
  • Weekend and holiday hours are required.
  • Hours and conditions: 48-hour workweek minimum.

Travel:

  • 5% - will be required to deliver deposits to the bank. Must have reliable transportation.
