Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to serve as the Director of Medicaid for Kaiser Permanente. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of Medicaid business strategies, overseeing program operations, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute Medicaid business strategies to drive growth and profitability
  • Oversee program operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including state and local regulators, vendors, and internal teams
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement program initiatives
  • Monitor and mitigate program risks, issues, and trigger events
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and maintain alignment with organizational strategies
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in Medicaid program leadership or a related field
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and profitability
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed business decisions
