Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Revenue Cycle Representative/ Medical Receptionist to join our team at Aspire Dermatology LLC. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and ensuring the smooth flow of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff, ensuring a positive experience for all
  • Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, handling phone calls, and responding to patient inquiries
  • Verify patient insurance information and obtain prior authorizations as needed
  • Collect patient payments, including deductibles, co-pays, and co-insurance
  • Balance cash drawer and reconcile end-of-day transactions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic information and medical history
  • Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) software to document patient interactions and update records
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Participate in a minimum of a four-office rotation, ensuring flexibility and adaptability
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or 2 years of experience in a healthcare administration setting
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Chrome, and EMR software
  • CPT/ICD-10 coding knowledge
  • 40 WPM typing speed
  • COVID-19 and influenza vaccines are mandatory
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
