We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Revenue Cycle Representative/ Medical Receptionist to join our team at Aspire Dermatology LLC. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and ensuring the smooth flow of medical records and billing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide top-notch customer service to patients, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and handling patient check-in and check-out processes.
- Medical Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Billing and Insurance: Verify patient insurance coverage, obtain prior authorizations, and collect deductibles, co-pays, and co-insurance.
- Data Entry: Accurately enter patient data into our electronic medical record system.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Education: Associate's degree or 2 years of experience in a healthcare administration setting.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as Google Chrome and Firefox.
- Coding Knowledge: Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding systems.
- Typing Speed: 40 WPM or higher.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients, staff, and physicians in a professional manner.
- Reliability: Reliable transportation and a commitment to punctuality and attendance.
