If Involved in Clinical Settings, You Will:
- Assume full responsibility for students in clinical environments.
- Clearly communicate clinical expectations to students.
- Coordinate student placements and expectations with clinical facility personnel.
- Guide students in utilizing available resources for clinical preparation.
- Assess student knowledge and skills to ensure patient safety and optimal care.
- Use pre- and post-conference sessions to allow students to share their experiences, reinforcing the connection between theoretical content and clinical objectives.
- Provide immediate feedback on clinical performance following observations, as well as overall performance evaluations at midterm and semester's end.
Your Qualifications Include:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, along with other necessary software.
- Experience with online learning management systems to enhance student engagement.
- Adherence to state, federal, and local regulations concerning programs and compliance standards, including those set by the state Board of Nursing.
- A minimum of two (2) years of direct patient care experience as a registered nurse, along with at least one year of experience in the relevant teaching field.
Educational Requirements:
Your education and experience must align with state regulations and comply with the standards of state authorization agencies.
A Master's degree in nursing is required, along with a valid professional nurse licensure.Compensation:
