Job Title: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

At Latouche Pediatrics, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide primary healthcare services to patients from birth to 22 years old in an office setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary medical care services as indicated, including assessing health conditions and collecting patient data through interviews, observation, and elimination.
  • Identify the need for additional data collection, including data collection from other health providers, and document findings and actions appropriately in the patient's medical records.
  • Assist in educating patients and family members regarding medical conditions, procedures, medication, and preventative measures as necessary and appropriate.
  • Recommend community resources to meet patient and family needs.
  • Issue medication prescriptions in accordance with treatment guidelines and provide patient education regarding medications, risks, benefits, and reasonable outcome expectations.
  • Communicate with patients and engage in follow-up as necessary, and perform evaluations and treatment procedures in emergency situations when necessary.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and attend required meetings and participate on committees as requested.
  • Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations and CME's.
