Pediatric Ophthalmology Specialist

The Delta Companies is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Ophthalmology Specialist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a board-certified or eligible physician to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
CompensationThe salary for this position is estimated to be around $340,000+, with a productivity-based incentive plan after year 2. Additionally, a sign-on bonus of $10k-$15k is offered, along with relocation assistance.
Job DescriptionThe new candidate will be busy within the first 6 months, handling the current volume of patients in need of care at our practice. Our OPHT clinic is booked out 3-4 months in advance, with a high clinical practice percentage (95%). The schedule includes 36 patient hours per week, divided into four 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday. Surgery is performed one day a week, with a mix of 25-30 patients in the clinic and 8-12 average cases. We have a great support staff, including scribes, technicians, and optometrists.
We utilize Med Flow in the clinic and Cerner at the hospital for EMR systems, and have an array of state-of-the-art equipment available, including OCT-Sirrus 5000 machines, Fundus Cameras, and more. There is also the capability to purchase additional equipment as needed.
The call schedule is relatively light, with residents taking the first and second round calls, and the candidate only being on third-round call.
Qualifications and SkillsTo be considered for this position, candidates must be board-certified or eligible in Pediatrics and become board-certified in the specialty within 5 years of completing their residency/fellowship.
