This advanced network, provided by the DoD, is a TS/SCI, integrated communication system that encompasses voice, video, and data services globally, enabling collaboration among senior leadership and essential personnel.

We seek candidates who demonstrate a robust work ethic and the capability to function as integral team members, striving towards mission goals while supporting our clientele. Attention to detail is paramount, alongside the ability to think critically and respond swiftly to unique challenges. Success in this position requires rapid adaptation and a willingness to learn the intricacies of both front-end and back-end operations of new technologies and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage an IT enterprise comprising Virtual Machine environments (Nutanix or VMware) that host MS Windows servers, Linux systems, and Citrix VDI services.
  • Ensure the health of VM clusters through maintenance activities and manage license upgrades effectively.
  • Engage in tasks within a Nutanix Acropolis environment to identify, analyze, and resolve performance-related issues.
  • Maintain enterprise capabilities for Windows/Linux and VDI server services, ensuring compliance with DISA STIG standards.
  • Oversee all physical back-end server services and manage team resource assignments.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex performance, security, and technical challenges.

Qualifications Required:

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Current DODD 8140/8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) is mandatory (e.g., CCNA Security, Security+ CE, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP).
  • Experience in developing IT checklists, standard operating procedures, and guides.
  • Proactive self-starter with a positive attitude and exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

Minimum Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years in IT, including:
  • 5 years managing MS Windows servers and Linux environments within Virtual Machine frameworks.
  • 2 years managing Nutanix HCI environments, including cluster configuration and VM management components.
  • 2 years overseeing Citrix VDI services.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and managing VMs, optimizing features at the VM level, and handling alerts, events, log collection, and reporting.
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or prior MCSE with the ability to obtain MCSA within 6 months of hire.
  • Citrix Certified Administrator or the ability to achieve certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Certified Nutanix Enterprise Cloud Administration (ECA).
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Administration certification.
  • VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization (VCP).
