Air Traffic Operations Supervisor
In the role of Air Traffic Operations Supervisor, you will be tasked with managing the activities of an Air Traffic Control (ATC) facility, ensuring the secure and effective movement of air traffic within a specified airspace while overseeing a team of professionals.
Primary Duties:
- Guarantee adherence to FAA regulations and guidelines to maintain safe aircraft separation.
- Collaborate with air traffic controllers and staff to relay critical information regarding aircraft operations and safety measures.
- Oversee the activities of vehicles and personnel operating on the airfield.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Completion of an accredited Department of Defense (DoD) or FAA Air Traffic Control training program.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in air traffic control, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Possession of necessary radar or tower operation certifications.
Skills and Expertise:
- Expertise in radar or control tower operations along with aircraft separation methodologies.
- Capability to manage flight plans and oversee both approach and departure protocols.
- Comprehensive knowledge of radar/manual approach control operations and flight planning processes.
- Understanding of ATC regulations and operational techniques.
Additional Qualifications:
- Valid U.S. Driver's License.
- Capacity to work under challenging environmental conditions.
- Willingness to undertake international travel for assignments.
- Active DoD SECRET security clearance.
