Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, patients, and patient advocacy groups.
- Provide scientific expertise and support to healthcare professionals, patients, and other stakeholders in the cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic disease areas.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest scientific research and developments in the cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic disease areas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Sales, to develop and implement strategic plans to support the launch and growth of Genentech's products.
- Develop and deliver educational programs and materials to healthcare professionals and patients on the safe and effective use of Genentech's products.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic disease areas.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape in the cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic disease areas.
- Advanced degree in a life science or related field (e.g., MD, PhD, PharmD, MSN, NP, PA, etc.).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field, including experience in medical affairs, marketing, sales, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in developing and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific information to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic recommendations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Experience in the cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic disease areas.
- Experience in medical affairs, marketing, sales, or a related field.
- Experience in developing and delivering educational programs and materials to healthcare professionals and patients.
- Experience in conducting market research and analysis.
- Experience in developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the competitive landscape in the cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic disease areas.
This position requires significant travel, including domestic and international travel, to attend external meetings and events, as well as to visit healthcare professionals and patients in their offices and homes.
Compensation and BenefitsThe expected salary range for this position is $163,700 - $303,900. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
