UniFirst is seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial equipment, systems, and components.
Key Responsibilities- Install and troubleshoot industrial equipment, systems, and components, including large capacity washers and dryers, pneumatic and steam systems, conveyor systems, and boilers.
- Perform maintenance tasks in accordance with Company safety policies and approved maintenance procedures.
- Use common tools, including hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and electrical and electronic testing devices.
- Ensure safe operation of machinery, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems equipment and components.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations.
- Perform Lockout/Tagout and Confined Space procedures as required.
- Minimum of 6 months' work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
- Applicable technical training and/or military experience will be considered.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics preferred.
- Ability to read and understand maintenance literature printed in English required.
- Experience using Hand & Power tools required.
- Lockout/Tagout experience is preferred.
- Prior welding experience, including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing.
