Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at UniFirst. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial equipment, systems, and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain large capacity washers and dryers, pneumatic and steam systems, conveyor systems, and boilers.
  • Perform maintenance tasks in accordance with Company safety policies and approved maintenance procedures.
  • Use common tools, including hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and electrical and electronic testing devices.
  • Ensure safe operation of machinery, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems equipment and components.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 months' work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
  • Applicable technical training and/or military experience will be considered.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand maintenance literature printed in English required.
  • Experience using Hand & Power tools required.
  • Lockout/Tagout experience is preferred.
  • Prior welding experience including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing.
