Position Overview:

This role is integral to the management and operation of various gas processing equipment including compressors, motors, and pipelines. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient and economical functioning of gas processing and treatment units within liquid and gas facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate, inspect, and maintain equipment at processing facilities, including cryogenic plants and LNG facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Optimize processing operations by adhering to product specifications.
  • Respond to alarms and troubleshoot issues within the facility, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Monitor and regulate pressures, temperatures, and flow rates to achieve optimal operational outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards, maintaining accurate reporting and documentation.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and training programs to uphold a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with control centers and other operational teams.
  • Oversee third-party maintenance and construction activities.
  • Conduct lab tests for quality assurance and assist with minor repairs as needed.
  • Utilize SCADA systems to monitor compressor status when applicable.
  • Adhere to safety policies, including energy isolation procedures.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
Experience Requirements:
  • Level C: 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in midstream operations or equivalent.
  • Level B: 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in midstream operations or equivalent.
  • Level A: 4+ years of relevant experience in midstream operations or equivalent.
Working Environment:

The characteristics of the work environment include:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Frequent driving, walking, and standing.
  • Exposure to various weather conditions and industrial settings requiring personal protective equipment.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be necessary.
