Role Overview
Reporting to the Director of Broadcast Production, Operations & Services, the Senior Manager of Broadcast Operations will play a pivotal role in managing the setup and execution of broadcast facilities and services for significant sporting events. This position is crucial for ensuring the seamless delivery of television, radio, and digital broadcasts during high-profile tournaments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the adherence to broadcast area standards at venues, ensuring all requirements are met and timelines are adhered to.
  • Collaborate closely with various functional teams, venue staff, and the Host Broadcaster to develop and enhance broadcast facilities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work in partnership with the Host Broadcaster to guarantee technical compliance of broadcast infrastructure.
  • Assist in coordinating broadcast operations during ancillary events, including test events and ceremonial functions.
  • Monitor progress, address risks and challenges, and escalate urgent matters promptly.
  • As part of the central broadcast management team, ensure the effective delivery of broadcast operations during events.
  • Conduct evaluations post-event to assess broadcast operations, identifying strengths and areas for enhancement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to foster effective collaboration throughout the project.
Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent higher education.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in event management, particularly within a broadcast context.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Proven project management abilities, with experience in overseeing complex projects from inception to completion.
  • Experience with major sporting events is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish and/or French is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and project management software.
