About the Role

The Project Engineer is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the successful execution of construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction trade principles, techniques, and procedures, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Assist the Project Manager in managing on-site construction activities and interactions between all parties.
  • Quality Control: Monitor daily work activities for quality, identifying and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
  • Safety Management: Ensure job site safety requirements are being adhered to at all times.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance to the team, including the utilization of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop project plans and specifications.
  • Documentation: Manage all documentation and project controls systems and procedures, ensuring all appropriate documents are distributed, reviewed, and stored to meet all requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in construction engineering or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years experience in construction engineering required.
  • Skills: Knowledge of construction trade principles, techniques, and procedures, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.
Working Conditions

The candidate must be able to move about the job site as needed, move work-related equipment up to 50 lbs, and remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.
