Lead Exceptional Care in Senior Living

As a Hospitality-Focused MDS Director at Life Care, you will be part of a dedicated team that prioritizes providing exceptional care and services to our residents. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Accurate MDS Completion - Coordinating, conducting, and completing MDS, resident care plans, and conferences on our computerized system.
  • Medical Record Integrity - Ensuring accuracy and completeness of entire medical records.
  • HCFA and Medicare Compliance - Monitoring that MDSs are completed within HCFA and Medicare guidelines.
  • Effective Communication - Ensuring effective communication with other shifts and departments as it relates to medical record documentation.
  • Nursing Staff Education - Educating nursing staff on documentation requirements for reimbursement.


Requirements for Success

  • Experience and Education - At least 2 years of experience in skilled nursing MDS and RN currently licensed by State of Florida.
  • CPR Certification - Current CPR certification.
  • MDS Transmittal Experience - Experience with the MDS transmittal process and understanding of regulations impacting the MDS.
