About the Role

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Facilities Director to lead our campus operations team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the implementation of the Campus Master Plan, ensuring alignment with Sodexo's standards and the college's culture and expectations.
  • Provide senior-level direction for all major facilities projects, including interviewing, training, and developing staff to ensure succession planning.
  • Lead initiatives to standardize operations, maintenance, renovation, and construction, ensuring efficient operation of all departmental functions.
  • Manage operating expenses, construction projects, and major renewal and replacement projects, securing funding as appropriate.
  • Establish and enhance facilities goals and objectives, allocate resources, control operating expenses, and ensure sound maintenance practices.
  • Lead renovation and construction projects, coordinating with architects and structural engineers to ensure quality of work and savings for the college.
Requirements
  • BS in Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to train and mentor staff.
  • Knowledge of Hard FM, trades, and disciplines, including energy management.
  • Proven success providing innovative, out-of-the-box strategies to complex issues.
  • 5+ years of previous director experience in Fully Integrated Facilities Management in a large, complex university or hospital environment.
