We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our kidney transplant program as the Surgical Director of Kidney Transplantation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the continued growth and excellence of our program.

Program Overview

Our kidney transplant program has experienced significant growth over the past five years, and we are now seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to take on the role of Surgical Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for the continued growth of the deceased and living donor kidney program and possess significant experience in laparoscopic and/or robotic donor nephrectomy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the kidney transplant program and ensure its continued growth and excellence
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in the development and implementation of educational programs for residents and fellows
  • Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Completed an ASTS accredited fellowship
  • Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Surgery
  • Licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut at the time of hire
  • At least 5 years of post-fellowship clinical work experience
