As a P&C Risk Manager, you will be responsible for leading and handling all aspects of various insurance programs, analyzing exposure data and loss information, and preparing presentations that summarize the for-renewal submission.
You will assess the impact of insurance renewal options and present recommendations with justifications to leadership and Director of Insurance, Executive Director of Risk Management.
Additionally, you will check insurance documentation for completeness and accuracy, recommend changes where necessary, and ensure timely payment of premiums.
You will also serve as an Insurance subject matter authority to assist other internal groups with any insurance-related issues, define and implement action plans, and work with outside contractors and insurance brokers to accomplish Risk Management objectives.
Furthermore, you will review contracts for appropriate insurance language, coordinate a physical and virtual policy storage, and design, develop, and implement methods and strategies to continually improve processes.
You will also lead or assist with projects that may arise and improve accessibility of policy and loss information.
As a key contact within Risk Management, you will serve as a liaison for leases, vendor, and supplier contract reviews to ensure adequate protection for the company.
Requirements- 7 years of experience in insurance risk management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong technology skills, including data analysis
- Ability to analyze large quantities of data and promote streamlined ways of handling risks
