Protouch Staffing is seeking a skilled and experienced Operating Room Nurse to join our team. As a key member of the surgical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the operating room.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for patients before, during, and after surgery, including vital sign monitoring and medication administration.
- Communicate effectively with family members and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, including setup and organization of equipment and supplies.
- Assist the surgeon and other medical staff as needed during surgical procedures.
- Manage patient transfers and complete charting and documentation.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of acute care experience in the operating room.
- Experience with various types of surgical procedures, including general surgery, orthopedic, and GI/endoscopy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
