OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Specialist to join our team at Sequim's Little Explorers Early Learning Center. As a specialist in child development, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of young children and fostering their growth.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a nurturing and responsive learning environment where children can thrive. This includes meeting the individual needs of each child, partnering with parents to provide exceptional care and education, and supporting the center's success through collaborative efforts.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 18 years of age
  • Completed high school education or equivalent
  • Documented child development education or work experience, or completion of Childcare Basics training within three months of hire
  • Attending college classes for education requirements as needed; FULL Scholarships available
  • Cleared Portable Background Check (PBC)
  • Safe Sleep for Infants Training Completed or on file
  • Mandated Reporter Training - Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse found Completed or on file
  • TB test results Completed or on file
  • Proof of MMR on file
  • CPR (Infant, Child Adult) First Aid training HIV/AIDS training/Bloodborne pathogens completed within 30 days of hire
