Midwestern Auto Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Counter Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for receiving and processing all parts orders, understanding and controlling parts inventory, and ensuring timely delivery to our technicians, vendors, and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process all parts orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Understand and control parts inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Create bin locations for new stock and maintain a clean and organized inventory area.
- Notify customers of parts arrival and any discrepancies or shortages.
- Process accessories and shelving them in a safe and secure manner.
- Prepare items for returns and shipping, and separate orders for each dealership.
- Process warranty scrap and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the auto industry.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in auto parts sales or a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented and strong work ethic.
