About the Role

The City of New York is seeking a skilled Policy Data Coordinator to join its Policy, Integration, and Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management and be able to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data.

About the Job

The Policy Data Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Director by ensuring the accuracy and consistency of data, implementing data quality checks and processes to maintain data integrity, and working with DYCD's Information Technology team as well as external vendors to troubleshoot issues, implement new items and changes, and monitor data quality.

Responsibilities

  • Implement data quality checks and processes to maintain data integrity
  • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data
  • Work with DYCD's Information Technology team as well as external vendors to troubleshoot issues, implement new items and changes, and monitor data quality
  • Assist in the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from various sources for analysis
  • Provide data-driven insights to inform program strategy and decision-making

Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community-centered activities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn and master various data systems used to gather and report Workforce Connect data

About the Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
