Our core software infrastructure, including APIs, internal services, and both web and mobile applications, is pivotal in transforming mobility solutions. As part of a compact team of skilled engineers and designers, you will significantly influence the development of an innovative application that reshapes travel and car ownership perceptions.

  • Collaborate closely with product management, design, and engineering teams to create features that enhance our performance metrics.
  • Produce high-quality, maintainable code, conduct thorough testing, engage in collaborative code reviews, and ensure successful deployment.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and scalability within our architecture and application design.
  • Develop diagnostic tools and utilities to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Ensure comprehensive technical design and documentation practices.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment where creativity and adaptability are essential.

Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in delivering high-scale production code.
  • Proficient in at least one programming language, preferably Java or Kotlin, with familiarity in Python, Ruby, Go, or C.
  • Strong foundation in computer science principles, including data structures, algorithms, database management, distributed systems, and search technologies, along with experience in API development.
  • Adept at problem-solving and committed to assisting others in achieving their objectives.
  • Passionate about backend technologies such as search, streaming, and databases.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to designers, support staff, and fellow engineers, with a strong ability to work cross-functionally.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this full-time position is competitive, with additional equity and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and individual compensation is influenced by work location and various factors including skills, experience, and education.
