**Job Description:**

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Camp Counselor to participate in our 4-week CIT program at Timbercrest. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in the success of our program, working closely with our CIT Director and other staff members to create a fun and engaging experience for our campers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Participate fully in the CIT program, including leading activities and mentoring campers
  • Complete required journaling and mentoring sessions
  • Assist in emergency situations and demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of campers
  • Participate in structured and unstructured activities, including outdoor adventures and team-building exercises

**Requirements:**

  • Previous experience working with children and/or in a summer camp setting
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Desire and ability to work with and relate to children and peers in an outdoor environment
  • Minimum age: 15
  • Willingness to complete certification course during designated training day

**Physical Requirements:**

  • Ability to assist campers in emergency situations
  • Ability to demonstrate enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, self-control, and ability to adapt well to changing situations
