We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant II to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Medical Assistant II, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate communication and collaboration with the healthcare team and patients to identify and meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Perform a variety of clinical tasks as directed by authorized healthcare providers, including rooming patients, taking vital signs, and preparing patients for exams.
- Assist with front office duties, such as scheduling tests and appointments, and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Participate in in-service presentations and seminars to enhance personal and professional growth.
- Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Medical Assistant certification or registration from an approved organization.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinic environment.
- 3 years of experience in a surgical clinic.
