We are seeking a highly skilled US Payroll Specialist to join our team at Kelly Services in Plano, TX. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit day-to-day entries for hourly and salaried non-exempt employees to ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
  • Communicate discrepancies to managers and employees, troubleshoot timekeeping system issues, and extract time reports for payroll processing.
  • Process bi-weekly and weekly payrolls for employees, including inputting new hires, changes, terminations, and bonuses into Celergo and Workday.
  • Update direct deposit information, W4s, and state elections at employee requests.
  • Ensure payroll changes and time are submitted by cutoff times and review payroll registers for accuracy.
  • Address employees' and HR Business Partners' inquiries related to payroll via ServiceNow tickets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or Business with a minimum of 3 years of experience processing payroll, including 2 years of multi-state payroll experience.
  • Possess at least 2 years of experience working with ADP and Workday HRIS systems for multi-state employees.
  • Alternatively, have 7 years of experience processing payroll, including multi-state payroll, with experience in ADP and Workday HRIS systems.
  • Boast strong analytical skills with excellent problem-solving, follow-up, and troubleshooting abilities.

Desired Qualifications:

  • FPC or CPP Certification.
  • Experience with child support and garnishments, tax payments, and various types of payrolled employees (e.g., W4, 1099).
