Job Summary

HHS is seeking a skilled Housekeeper and Floor Tech to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff. As a Floor Tech, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the floors in our facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
  • Clean and maintain floors in our facilities
  • Perform daily cleaning procedures in assigned areas
  • Record work completed on Area Assignment Checklist
  • Respond to Housekeeping pages
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the department Director

Requirements

  • Able to lift 40 lb. frequently
  • Capable of standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
  • Capable of lifting furniture and equipment (up to 40 lb.) frequently
  • Capable of pushing and pulling a maid cart, linen cart, or various equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
  • Capable of pushing and pulling furniture and equipment (up to 40 lb.) frequently
  • Must be able to handle/interact with all chemicals used (i.e., bleach, wax, Virex, etc.)
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and other hours as needed per assigned area
  • Must have communication skills in English
