Job Overview

As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will play a critical role in our cardiovascular program, working closely with a team of experienced cardiologists and electrophysiologists.

We are proud to offer a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower, equipped with three Cath Lab suites, an Electrophysiology suite, a Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. This cutting-edge facility enables us to provide exceptional patient care and advance our cardiovascular services.

Awarded by the American College of Cardiology and other prestigious organizations, we have earned numerous accolades for our commitment to quality and patient safety. These include Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation, NCDR Registry Gold Award, Women's Choice Award in Heart Care, Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation, and American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain equipment for cardiovascular procedures
• Assess patient conditions and provide necessary care
• Establish and maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures
• Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation and professional development
• Utilize downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks
• Foster strong working relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure exceptional patient care

Qualifications

• Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months
• Achieve all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months
• Possess a formal education in Radiologic Technology or equivalent military training, with eligibility for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration or current RCIS certification
• Previous procedural area experience preferred, but not required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with ACLS training achieved within 6 months of hire

Compensation

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $27.84-$45.46, based on previous work experience.
