Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System.

Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled in the heart of Oklahoma. Our innovative cardiovascular program is expanding, and we need a knowledgeable Registered Technologist to support this growth.

We pride ourselves on being a beacon of workplace excellence, with a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower featuring three Cath Lab suites, an Electrophysiology suite, a Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. Our team works closely with nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
  • Identify and assess patient conditions.
  • Provide patient care while maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
  • Participate in the orientation of new staff.
Requirements
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation.
  • Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training within 6 months of hire.
  • 1 year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
