We're seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Marketing & Communications Specialist to lead marketing and communications efforts for our Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence (AICOE). This hybrid role will be part of a team establishing the framework for the AICOE's sustainability and effectiveness, helping our workforce leverage AI/ML capabilities, and enabling our clients to optimize operations, enhance decision-making, and improve day-to-day processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Manage Communication Strategies: Create comprehensive communication plans to educate the workforce about the program, promoting enterprise-wide adoption of AI/ML in work planning and operations.
  • Cohesive Communication Strategy: Develop and implement a cohesive communication strategy aligned with the program's overall goals and objectives.
  • Content Creation: Create compelling educational materials, including presentations, brochures, and other resources, to facilitate understanding and implementation of AI/ML technologies.
  • Website Content Management: Develop and maintain engaging website content that highlights the benefits and applications of AI/ML, ensuring information is accessible and up-to-date.
  • Workshops and Training: Organize and lead workshops and training sessions to enhance technical proficiency among employees, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote the program's initiatives and successes, building a strong network of support.
  • Feedback and Improvement: Develop and implement surveys and forms to gather feedback, enhancing the user experience and ensuring continuous improvement in AI adoption.
  • Branding and Collateral: Oversee branding initiatives and create collateral that promotes user adoption and engagement, ensuring consistency and alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5 years of related experience, with a track record of successful strategic planning and execution.
  • Familiarity with relevant tools and technologies in the communications field.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and their applications in business operations.
  • Ability to create engaging and informative content tailored to various audiences.
  • Experience with website content management systems.
  • Ability to translate technical information into accessible, engaging content.
  • Experience in developing surveys and gathering user feedback.
  • Ability to Obtain a DOE Q-Clearance.
  • Experience in a national laboratory setting preferred.
