The Electronic Assembly Technician is responsible for performing precise soldering tasks on electronic components and assemblies.
Shift Details1st shift: 7am - 3:30pm
2nd shift: 3:30pm - 12am
CompensationPay Rate: $18 and up, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Execute detailed soldering on circuit boards, including both surface mount and through-hole components.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of electronic components.
- Conduct visual inspections of printed circuit boards (PCBs) to ensure compliance with IPC-A-610 standards.
- Identify reference designator locations on printed wiring assemblies.
- Maintain quality control and complete all relevant documentation related to soldering tasks.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Perform additional duties as required.
The Electronic Assembly Technician operates on the production floor.
Qualifications- Knowledge of IPC quality standards is essential.
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, equipment, and procedures in the field.
- Ability to successfully pass the soldering assessment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Proficiency in meeting deadlines.
