Job Opportunity: Mechanical Designer

VAA is seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team. As a Mechanical Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Provide direction and distribute work to technicians
  • Review technician's work and ensure quality standards are met
  • Communicate with clients and contractors regarding RFI's and field questions
  • Maintain awareness of fees and drafting time, understand project scope and identify potential additional service items
Requirements:
  • Certificate in construction-related design/drafting or higher and at least three years of directly related experience OR at least four years of directly related experience
  • REVIT 3D experience
  • HVAC design and plumbing design experience (highly preferred)
