The Raw Material Manager is tasked with managing the inventory and supply chain of essential raw materials for production processes. This role operates within a shift-based framework, ensuring that adequate raw materials are consistently available by coordinating logistics between production facilities and external storage sites. The RM Manager is pivotal in production scheduling, formulating detailed material input strategies, overseeing shift operations, and refining processes to ensure optimal efficiency. This position demands exceptional organizational capabilities and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Management: Supervise raw material inventory processes, ensuring stock levels align with production needs. Monitor the transfer of materials between production sites and storage facilities, ensuring prompt and precise logistics operations.
  2. Production Coordination: Create and manage material input schedules in collaboration with production teams, ensuring all necessary materials are prepared for uninterrupted production.
  3. Compliance and Documentation: Uphold safety standards and company policies in all material handling processes. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and logistics operations.
  4. Team Leadership: Inspire and develop the raw material handling team across shifts, fostering a culture of productivity and accuracy.
  5. Reporting and Analysis: Maintain comprehensive records of raw material transactions and inventory status, presenting insights on performance metrics and operational challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations, with a focus on inventory management.
  • Strong knowledge of material handling and production support.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP.
  • Ability to lead and develop teams in a shift-oriented environment.
