Full-Time Day or Night Shifts Available
As a Registered Nurse in the Extended Care setting, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating, planning, executing, and assessing patient care requirements.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of patient care in compliance with established protocols.
- Guiding and assigning tasks to other healthcare team members based on their qualifications and proven skills.
- Enhancing personal professional growth through ongoing education and development opportunities.
- Contributing to the formulation and adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and objectives, including quality improvement and safety initiatives.
- Performing additional responsibilities as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Registered Nurse - Extended Care
RN - Geriatric Services
Full-Time Day or Night Shifts Available
Candidates for the Registered Nurse position in Extended Care must fulfill the following minimum qualifications:
EDUCATION:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Specialty certifications are advantageous.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
- At least 1 year of clinical experience as a Staff Nurse is preferred.
- Prior experience in geriatric or rehabilitation nursing is preferred, or willingness to undergo orientation until competency is achieved.
- Proven understanding of age-specific principles of growth and development to address the needs of each patient.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
- Must hold a current Registered Nurse license in the practicing state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification may be necessary.
Compensation Range: $40.93 - $65.72 per hour
