Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team at Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Northwest Arkansas. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our hospital's mission to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide patient care considering needs specific to the standard of care for patient's age, including geriatric and general inpatient rehabilitation patients.
- Assist with the assessment of all patients and reassessments as per policy.
- Identify and initiate appropriate rehabilitation nursing interventions.
- Carry out the plan of care as indicated by the patient's needs and response to treatment.
- Interact professionally with patient/family and involve patient/family in the formation of the plan of care.
- Graduate of accredited licensed practical/vocational nurse program.
- Current state licensure as Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.
- CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.
- IV Certified required or obtained within 6 months highly preferred.
- Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
