Key Responsibilities:

  • System Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of chiller systems, refrigeration, heat pump, and HVAC equipment.
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, inspect, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems, including vacuuming, cleaning, changing filters, and oiling parts.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of field experience as a Licensed Journeyman in HVAC.
  • Certifications: Must have an EPA Certification (608) Universal License.
  • Skills: Commercial experience as a HVAC and Refrigeration Technician, knowledge of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices necessary to perform all work assignments.
  • Education: Participates in ongoing training to stay updated on the newest equipment and latest software for HVAC equipment.
  • Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills required.
  • Supervision: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform duties with minimal supervision in isolated areas.
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Driver's License: Valid Driver's license and able to maintain a good driving record.
