Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate IVF Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team at Jobot. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing top-tier care and support to our patients undergoing In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) treatments.

Responsibilities
  • Assist medical staff in the preparation and execution of IVF procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available.
  • Prepare patients for examinations or procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions they may have.
  • Conduct patient intake, including recording medical history and vital signs.
  • Perform phlebotomy and laboratory tasks, such as preparing specimens for analysis.
  • Monitor patients during and after procedures, recording observations and reporting any unusual occurrences to the medical team.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  • Keep accurate and detailed patient records, including procedure notes, test results, and follow-up care instructions.
  • Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and their families during this emotionally charged time.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay abreast of the latest advancements in IVF and reproductive health.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in a fertility clinic or OB/GYN setting.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
  • Proficient in phlebotomy and other clinical skills.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex medical procedures to patients in a clear and compassionate manner.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
  • Deep commitment to patient care and a passion for helping people start families.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and education in the field of reproductive health.
