Construction Supervisor

This role requires the supervision of assigned jobs to ensure timely, safe, and successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Superintendent to achieve job success.
- Work with project owners, subcontractors, and other trades to complete jobs efficiently.
- Manage New Mexico "One Calls" and maintain updates.
- Supervise employees in a considerate manner while prioritizing safe production.
- Coordinate material, equipment, and labor needs with the Operations Manager.
- Perform performance management with crew members.
- Communicate weekly and monthly goals to crew members.
- Use the PO system for obtaining materials.
- Address personnel problems with the Personnel Director and HR.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines at all times.
- Host weekly "tail-gate" safety meetings.
- Complete employee time to payroll daily.
- Track equipment, tools, and materials necessary for daily job functions and provide data entry information.
- Maintain company equipment according to policy (pre-trips, housekeeping, reporting malfunctions).
- Report equipment malfunctions to the Shop Manager immediately.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Superintendent.

- Lifting/Carrying: Frequent, classified as "Medium Work".
- Climbing: Frequent, requiring ability to climb in and out of heavy trucks and equipment.
- Spinal Rotation: Continuous, requiring full spinal rotation.
- Push/Pull: Continuous, requiring ability to work levers.
- Balance: Frequent, requiring ability to balance while climbing or working in awkward positions.
- Reaching: Frequent, requiring ability to utilize full upper extremity range of motion.
- Grasping/Handling: Continuous, requiring ability to grasp and manipulate controls.
- Long Handled Tool Use: Occasional, requiring ability to perform safe, neutral spine technique.
- Vision: Continuous, requiring ability for environment awareness and good depth perception.
- Climate: Continuous, requiring ability to tolerate extreme temperatures.
- Endurance: Excellent, requiring ability to tolerate up to 10-14 hour days.
- Hearing: Occasionally, requiring ability to communicate by radio.
Equipment Used:
- Clothing provided by employee: steel toe boots and leather gloves.
- Safety equipment provided by employer: safety vest, hardhat, hearing protection, safety glasses.
- Heavy equipment: blade, loader, compactor, back hoe, and spreader box.
