Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

  • Assess and manage a variety of medical conditions.
  • Create and execute detailed treatment strategies.
  • Perform comprehensive medical evaluations and histories.

Effective Communication:

  • Engage clearly with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Deliver precise medical information.
  • Encourage a collaborative, patient-focused healthcare environment.

Documentation:

  • Keep thorough and current patient records.
  • Record medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to coding and billing standards.

Diagnostic Responsibilities:

  • Order and interpret necessary diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging.
  • Perform required medical procedures.
  • Work alongside specialists for advanced diagnostic assessments.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary meetings and case discussions.
  • Provide consultative support to fellow healthcare providers.

Quality Improvement Initiatives:

  • Participate in quality assurance and enhancement programs.
  • Analyze clinical outcomes for ongoing improvement.
  • Implement strategies to elevate patient care and safety.

Compliance and Ethics:

  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
  • Stay updated on healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Engage in quality audits to ensure compliance with standards.

Continuous Professional Development:

  • Remain informed about medical advancements and best practices.
  • Participate in ongoing medical education and training opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid and unrestricted medical license in California.
  • Board eligible or board certified in the relevant medical specialty.
  • Completion of an accredited residency training program.

Compensation Rate:
$144.27 per hour
