Primary Duties:

  • Support individuals with developmental challenges in their everyday tasks and routines.
  • Execute behavior intervention strategies as outlined by a Behavior Analyst or supervisor.
  • Offer personalized assistance to clients as they pursue their objectives.
  • Maintain precise documentation of clients' progress and behavioral observations.
  • Provide transportation for clients to appointments or community activities (valid driver's license required).
  • Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for clients at all times.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, their families, and other team members.
  • Participate in training sessions and meetings as necessary.
  • Accurately log and report hours worked.
  • Comply with all organizational policies, ethical standards, and confidentiality protocols.

Required Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with individuals with developmental challenges is essential.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
  • Ability to successfully complete a Level 2 background screening.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is advantageous).
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including night shifts as needed.
  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Capability to follow instructions and collaborate effectively within a team.
