Forklift Operator Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team at BD. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of products within our distribution center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and off-load inbound and outbound shipments utilizing the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Report discrepancies between inventory counts and shipping/receiving documents
  • Ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading of pallets
  • Locate and retrieve products, as well as replenish picking locations
  • Assist as required and act as backup during times of absence or vacation
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
  • 1 year of proven experience in a warehouse or material handling environment, required in lieu of high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with multiple types of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), preferred
  • Ability to acquire a forklift certification
  • Ability to read and interpret distribution documents
  • Basic analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • General distribution knowledge
  • Proficient in the use of a PC
  • Strong initiative and drive for results
